Placing an Order

How do I personalise a product?

Visit the personalisation page of our website to see our full range of personalised items and to place an order online.

All personalised orders are considered final at the point of order placement, please ensure that you take extra care when entering any names or messages into our website as we are unable to offer refunds or replacements. 

All of our personalised items are made and finished by hand, so you may see a slight variation between personalised pieces depending on the lettering and wording that you have chosen.

Can you make me a bespoke piece?

Unfortunately, we are unable to consider requests for specific bespoke pieces, we can only personalise items as seen in the personalisation pages of our website.

Can I purchase Gift Vouchers online?

Please see our Gift Voucher page if you wish to purchase a Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers are delivered instantly by email to the purchaser's email address, ready to print out or forward on. Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed online at www.austinsloan.co.uk or via our telephone ordering service. Currently, Gift Vouchers can only be purchased and redeemed in £ Sterling.

Can I send my order to multiple addresses?

We are unable to send single orders to multiple addresses. An separate order for each recipient would need to be placed.

How secure are my details?

We are committed to protecting any personal information you provide. Our website is certified as PCI DSS Compliant which ensures unbeatable security & protection of sensitive customer information including credit card details. Will you pass my personal details on to other organisations?

We take keeping your personal data safe very seriously and will not pass on any of your details without your consent.

Receiving Your Order

How much is delivery?

We offer free standard delivery on all orders. Express next day delivery is £6.95.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

UK Standard Delivery
We aim to deliver standard orders to mainland UK within 5 days.

UK Express Delivery
(Not available for delivery to UK Highlands and Islands) Next day delivery if ordered before Midday* will be delivered Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays or public holidays). Orders placed Friday (after midday), Saturday or Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday.

Where is my order?

We aim to deliver all orders to mainland UK within 5 days. Orders for delivery to the UK highlands and Islands may take longer. Please see our delivery page for full details.

On despatch of your order you will receive an email containing tracking information that allows you to track your order’s progress. You will also receive updates by email/text message direct from the courier.

Will multiple items be despatched separately?

We will despatch all items in your order at the same time, if an item is missing, please contact us.

Can I specify a delivery time?

Unfortunately, we cannot specify specific delivery times. Please visit the delivery page for full information.

What happens if I’m not in when you attempt delivery?

If you're not in, you are able to re-arrange delivery the courier may leave the item with a neighbour or in a safe place. A card will be left with the information. For express delivery you are able to re-arrange delivery using your electronic delivery notification updates.

Can I collect my order?

Orders can be collected in person Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.

Returns & Exchanges

How can I return my order?

Faulty or Damaged Items
If any of the items in your order are faulty or damaged, then please contact us within 30 days of your order being delivered and we will send you a label that will allow you to return them to us free of charge for a replacement or refund.

Unwanted Items
We do not currently offer free of charge returns for unwanted items, but can supply a return postage label for a small charge. Please contact us if you would like to return an item.

Personalised Items
All personalised orders are considered final at the point of order placement. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements on any personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.

Please do not return items without contacting us as we are unable offer refunds or exchanges without prior agreement. Please visit our returns page for full details.

I have been given an item as a gift, can I exchange or return it?

An item that was received as a gift can be returned for an exchange or gift vouchers. We do require proof of purchase or a delivery note from Austin Sloan. An email will be sent to the person who made the original purchase when the exchange is completed. Refunds can only be made to the original credit or debit card on which the gift was purchased.

I bought an item from a stockist, can I return it to you?

No, please get in touch with the stockist you purchased from (make sure you have your original receipt). They will let you know what their returns policy is. If you require a telephone number for a store, please let us know.

Cancelling an Order

Can I cancel or amend my order?

Order Cancellation: Personalised Items
All personalised orders are considered final at the point of order placement. As such, please ensure that you take extra care when entering any names or messages into our website as we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for personalised items.

Order Cancellation: Non-Personalised Items
We are unable to cancel orders containing non-personalised items once the order has been confirmed.

Change of Delivery Address
We are unable to change the delivery address for an order once the order has been confirmed. As such, please ensure that you take extra care when entering names and addresses.

Adding/Removing Items from an Order
Unfortunately we are unable to add items to or remove items from an order once it has been placed.
